A native of Costa Rica, Gabriela has extensive experience as a solo performer, chamber musician, collaborative pianist, and teacher.

In addition, her work in rediscovering, adapting, and promoting works by Latin American female composers has been featured at several of the nation’s top conferences.

Gabriela completed Bachelor’s and Licenciate’s degrees with emphasis in Piano Performance at the University of Costa Rica, and a Master’s Degree at Ithaca College. She recently completed her Doctor of Arts degree with a major in Piano Performance and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Music at Ball State University.
