Pop Artist, Songwriter, Vocalist, Vocal Teacher.. these are but a few of the many names Taylor Lenz goes by. 

Taylor graduated from Los Angeles College of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition with an Emphasis in Songwriting. Taylor has studied under the top Vocal and Songwriting professional in Los Angeles. She has been taking vocal lessons herself since ago 7, and has years of classical, pop, and musical theater vocal training. Taylor has been teaching Vocal, Songwriting, and Performance lessons for 5 years now. She hopes to be the type of teacher she wishes she would have had growing up. “I had a very one size fits all music education - and that’s the opposite of what I try to give my students! I want to celebrate their differences, and what makes them unique. I love to help each student discover their star qualities, and get better in the process! Music is all about finding yourself, conveying a message. Whether that’s Vocal, Performance, or Songwriting. And, having fun of course!

If you haven’t heard of Pop singer/songwriter Taylor Lenz yet, don’t worry—you soon will. The born-and-bred Kansas Citian is finding newfound success with the release of her debut single, Tease, which is slowly but surely getting picked up across the country. Lenz cut her musical chops growing up in Missouri where—as she says—”there were not many opportunities to pursue music, but my mom and I went out and sought every possible opportunity there was.” Her music education varied from musical theater to fronting Rush and Queen cover bands. “Totally not the style that my music is, but I’m so thankful for that, because it gave me such a good music education,” she says with a laugh. “It really gave me a passion for writing, which has always been so therapeutic for me. When I finally paired the two, music and writing, voilá—the songwriter in me was born."

 This Pop newbie has never been one to follow the status quo, and her first release was no different. ' 'Tease' debuted on the radio at Planet 102.3, KCRS News Talk radio, and KISS 103.3, an impressive feat for a new artist. Her follow up single, ‘Perfect’ released February 2021, was no different. Also getting its debuting on the radio, ‘Perfect’ has been written up in publications like The Pitch, In Kansas City Magazine, among others. Each song brings something different to the table. Where Tease is sassy and flirty, Perfect is hard hitting, and dark. The songs show off not only Taylor’s versatility, but her songwriting range as well.
